YOUR NEW ROLE:

Your responsibilities will include performing a variety of radiographic examinations with precision and professionalism. You will ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient safety and comfort. 

In addition to operating radiographic equipment, you will be involved in patient preparation, positioning, and providing clear instructions during procedures. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results and contribute to patient treatment plans. Maintaining a high standard of practice and adhering to radiation safety guidelines is imperative in this role.

YOU HAVE:

• Radiographic Proficiency: Skilled in performing a range of radiographic examinations, including X-ray, CT, and MRI, with a focus on achieving high-quality diagnostic images.
• Patient Care and Communication: Excellent ability to communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and reassurance, and prioritising their comfort and safety during procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
• Technical and Safety Compliance: Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and compliance with health and safety regulations. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.
• A degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent, specializing in Radiography.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• A valid NSW Radiation Use Licence.
